Disability Residential Services
TLC Homes has identified a necessity for enhanced community residential services for persons who are developmentally disabled and are physically challenged or have medically complex needs. Our goal is to contribute to the development of innovative services which are required to meet these needs. Individuals' choices, dignity, and rights are a priority when developing individualized programs. Each potential admission is professionally assessed and reviewed by an interdisciplinary team. Residential care, supported apartment and home care, and respite care programs demonstrate a continuum of services that TLC provides.
We at TLC Homes believe that every person has a basic need for comfort, security, love and a sense of belonging. A homelike atmosphere and friendly surroundings are integral components to the quality of an individual's life. We are advocates of each individual's autonomy, rights and choices. We enable persons to satisfy these needs by providing support, assistance, education, encouragement, and an atmosphere that enhances the quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities. Our programs provide optimal community involvement and integration. The environment is structured to assure proper supervision, comfort and safety. TLC collaborates with each individual, the individual's guardian or support system, and the caseworker on a regular basis.
